Chernenko Victor — composer, programmer

Styles: contemporary composition for symphonic and chamber orchestra, experimental electronic. Develops software for his performances and recording using JavaScript, HTML, Max/MSP, CSound, C++ etc.

The Collective improvisation system (COIMS) was designed to unite musicians in any number of subgroups. Musicians in one subgroup share common musical idea.

For each participant of a subgroup generator renders an individual "score" — a set of instructions for the artist. These instructions are linked with "scores" of other participants. Type of this link can be very diverse — from the similarity to contrast. Score is available to improvisers as automatically updating web page that can be viewed on any device, which has access to the network and browser.

In the time of romantic harmony of the XIX century musicologists, eg., Hugo Riemann, began to explain the harmony of music using mathematical notation. They strove to achieve accuracy in the analytical methods as if musicology was like physics. The next step was the idea of composition using formulae. More
